What does Geosort do?

Geosort optimizes the product order in your Shopify collections to help you turn more of the same traffic into sales. Combine country-specific bestsellers with your own merchandising rules, pins and commercial priorities.

Can shoppers in different countries see different products first?

Yes. Country sorting adapts the order within the same collection URL. Spain can lead with its own bestsellers while the United States sees a different ranking. Share rules across Country Groups and keep each country's local order.

Can I try Geosort for free?

Yes. There is a free plan for basic global sorting, and paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Country sorting starts on Starter. Compare plans to find the right fit for your brand.

What does Geosort do?

Geosort optimizes the product order in your Shopify collections to help you turn more of the same traffic into sales. Combine country-specific bestsellers with your own merchandising rules, pins and commercial priorities.

Is Geosort suitable for my brand?

Geosort is built by ecommerce operators for brands that care about merchandising, performance and international growth. You can start with a small catalog on Free and move into country-specific optimization and advanced commercial workflows as your brand grows.

Which collections should I start with?

Start with a collection that already receives meaningful traffic: Bestsellers, New in, a key category or a collection used in your campaigns. Set your commercial priorities, check the storefront order and review performance before expanding.

Do I need to rebuild my storefront?

Geosort works with Shopify collections and keeps the public collection URL. Check your theme, filters and existing integrations during setup. Headless storefronts such as Hydrogen or Remix need a separately scoped Custom implementation.

Can I test Geosort while another sorting app is installed?

Yes, but pause the other app's sorting on the collection you are testing. Keep a record of your current rules and pins, and let only one app manage the order on that collection. Validate your country-specific setup before rolling it out more widely.

Can you help me get Geosort set up?

Yes. Share your Shopify store and the collections or countries you want to focus on. We can help you choose your starting setup and understand which merchandising rules fit your catalog.

Country sorting

One collection URL. Local bestsellers. Get to know the country-first approach behind Geosort.

How does country sorting work in Geosort?

Geosort lets you show different product orders to shoppers in different countries. Instead of using one static order for every visitor, you can adapt collections based on each market's demand, performance, inventory, and merchandising strategy.

Can each country have its own collection order?

Yes. You can create country-specific sorting for the markets included in your plan. This is useful when your bestsellers in one country are different from your bestsellers in another, or when certain products perform better in specific regions.

What happens in countries I have not configured?

Visitors from countries without a specific country sort can continue seeing your global collection order. This lets you start with your highest-impact markets first and expand your country sorting as your store grows.

How does the single URL collection feature work?

This is one of Geosort's unique features. Your main Bestsellers collection can stay on the normal Shopify URL, for example /collections/bestsellers. Instead of sending visitors to separate country URLs, Geosort renders the right geo-sorted subcollection on that same main collection URL, so merchants promote one URL while shoppers see the order built for their country.

What are Country Groups?

Country Groups let multiple countries share merchandising logic. Group countries by region, Shopify Market or seasonal priorities, then manage the rules together. Each country still keeps its own bestseller ranking: shared rules do not mean one shared product order.

Can one country have different rules from its group?

Yes. Use country-specific logic for a local launch, seasonal change or commercial priority while keeping shared rules for the rest of the group. You can work with individual countries as well as regional or seasonal groups.

Can I keep my existing collection links?

Yes. Your menus, ads, email campaigns, landing pages, and navigation links can continue pointing to your main Shopify collection handles. Geosort handles the market-specific sorting experience behind the same collection URL.

Merchandising

Stay in control of your collection strategy while Geosort does the day-to-day optimization.

Can I keep control over the product order?

Yes. Use ordered layers and product pins to set your priorities, then let Geosort rank products within that structure. You can combine New in, bestsellers, campaigns and stock rules, and adjust the logic for different countries. Explore the merchandising features.

How does product grouping work?

Product grouping keeps related products next to each other in a collection. Add at least two products to a group, such as color variants or pieces of a matching set. The product that ranks highest leads the group. Grouping is available from Growth.

What can I do with interleaving?

Interleaving creates a balanced mix within a collection. For example, show one T-shirt, one hoodie and one pair of bottoms, then repeat that mix. Products remain ranked within each chosen group for the shopper's country, so the mix reflects local performance.

What happens when a product comes back in stock?

The Restock layer can detect returning stock and promote those products for a set number of days. Place the layer where it fits your commercial priorities. Restock tracking is available from Pro.

Can I push down products with missing key sizes?

Yes. Broken-stock rules let you define which missing sizes should flag a product as low stock. You can move those products down before fully sold-out products, helping shoppers discover products they can actually buy. This workflow is available from Pro.

What does Sales Mode do?

Sales Mode marks promotional periods so those sales can be excluded from later Best Sellers calculations. That helps prevent a short discount campaign from shaping the ranking after the promotion ends. Analytics and other sorting rules continue to work. Sales Mode is available from Pro.

How often does Geosort re-sort collections?

Geosort keeps collection orders updated automatically based on each plan and its usage limits. Live sorting is included on Plus, Enterprise, and Custom, so higher-scale brands can keep product order closer to real-time demand and performance.

How can I measure the impact of a collection order?

Collection analytics connects sessions with add-to-carts, checkouts and revenue. On Plus and above, A/B testing lets you compare collection strategies against a control. Review the sample and confidence alongside the lift before deciding which order to keep.

Which plans include live sorting and A/B testing?

Integrations

Explore integrations
Which wishlist app does Geosort integrate with?

Geosort currently integrates with Swish, formerly Wishlist King. For an identified shopper, it can use their saved products in the collection order. How do Geosort product feeds work in Klaviyo?
