Geosort. Built by operators. For operators.

We built brands before we built software. Geosort brings years of running international ecommerce into one goal: helping every collection sell better, in every country.

15+Years in ecommerce
30+Countries reached by our own footwear brand

The operator's perspective. From day one.

The journey

It started with our own store.

Not a product idea in search of a problem. A problem we had spent years solving inside real brands.

2010

Learning ecommerce by doing ecommerce.

At 16, our founder Marc Momplet launched Byron Skatewear. Over the next eight years, the brand sold more than 45,000 items and reached over 10 skate shops. Product, inventory, acquisition, fulfilment: the lessons came from running the business, not watching from the outside.

One brand. Every part of the business.

2018–2021

A different market changes everything.

Sunfire Bay began as a women's clothing brand in 2018. When sandals outperformed clothing, we followed the demand and created Step by Store. In under three years, it sold more than 500,000 shoes across 30+ countries. The business was sold to a footwear manufacturer in 2021.

International growth became first-hand experience.

2020–2022

More businesses. A sharper instinct.

In 2020 came Vendfy, performance software for influencer marketing. In late 2022 came Hippy, another DTC brand. Different categories, the same questions: what makes someone buy, what blocks growth, and what is worth the team's time?

Brands and software. Always close to the customer.

2024

Doing for other brands what we'd done for our own.

After Hippy, we knew what we did best: build and scale digital brands internationally. In 2024, that experience became Black Comet. We brought web, CRO, paid acquisition and email marketing together for brands including Cold Culture, Niche Beauty Lab and Laagam.

One commercial goal. Every part of the growth journey.

Meet Black Comet

The insight

Why should every country see the same collection?

Working with Cold Culture made the opportunity clear. Different countries wanted different products, but the store showed one global order. So we created separate collections for each country and merchandised them manually. We then brought the same approach to other brands, including Laagam and Niche Beauty Lab.

Local demand needed a local product order.

The turning point

The logic worked. The workload didn't.

More countries meant more collections, more product moves and more work every time demand changed. AI helped, but the process still depended on constant manual attention. This was too important to leave to a workflow that couldn't scale.

A bigger team wasn't the answer. A better system was.

Today

Geosort: country-first merchandising, at scale.

We built Geosort to make that approach work continuously, across countries and collections. Commercial rules keep the brand in control. Local demand shapes the order. And analytics make the impact visible. What started as manual work for a few brands became a merchandising engine built around international growth.

Built from everything we'd learned. Still shaped by real operators.

The operator's advantage

We know what is at stake. We've run the store.

Today, our work across Black Comet and Geosort keeps us close to hundreds of brands. That connection shapes what we build, how it works, and what we measure.

Country-first, by design.

International customers are not one audience. Local demand belongs at the core of merchandising, not in a workaround.

Your strategy stays yours.

New drops, product groups, stock and brand priorities all matter. Automation should work with commercial judgement, not replace it.

Explore the merchandising rules

Revenue is the point.

A collection should look right and work harder. We build around product discovery, conversion and measurable Incremental Revenue.

We didn't set out to build another sorting app. We built the system we needed when we were the people moving the products.
