Set the source. Keep the flexibility.
A store default gives active collections a consistent starting point. Templates reuse a strategy across selected collections. A custom collection strategy lets a key category or campaign follow its own priorities.
Within that setup, use country or group overrides for local exceptions. Changing a collection's rules does not require rebuilding every market manually. Review the selected scope and product preview before saving and re-sorting.

Match the update rhythm to the moment.
Use scheduled sorting for routine maintenance and an on-demand re-sort after an important strategy change. Live sorting refreshes collections hourly, helping the order follow changing demand and availability.
A scheduled layer controls when a campaign enters and leaves the recipe. That campaign window is different from sorting frequency: one defines the active strategy, the other updates the resulting product order.
Make availability part of the strategy.
Sold Out and Low Stock keep unavailable or weak-stock products away from prime positions according to your settings. Broken Stock Detection can look at buyable variants or the key sizes you choose, so a product is not treated as healthy simply because one size remains.
Restock gives replenished products another opportunity, using the return threshold and promotion window. Sales Mode keeps promotional periods separate from normal bestseller history after a sale.
