Your stack.
The same merchandising engine.

A headless Shopify store should not have to rebuild its merchandising logic. Geosort prepares the product order in Shopify; your front end decides how to present it.

Hydrogen, Remix, Next.js, Nuxt or a custom stack can use the same Storefront API collection model. We adapt the integration to the system that actually returns your product grid.

Hydrogen

Shopify’s headless stack, with the ranked collection read in your loader.

Remix

Keep your routes and components; use Shopify as the ranking source.

Next.js / Nuxt

Use the same Shopify collection model in your own data-fetching layer.

Custom

Any frontend that can read Shopify’s Storefront API; we adapt the integration to your grid.

Built for Shopify-backed headless storefronts. Custom search and product indexes are reviewed as part of setup.

Your storefront reads Shopify.
Geosort keeps the order ready.

Geosort writes the country ranking into real Shopify collections and keeps their membership aligned with the original. Your storefront reads that prepared product order through the Shopify Storefront API.

There is no Geosort API request in the grid-rendering path, and no Geosort SDK is needed for ordering. Your own caching still needs to vary by country so each market receives the right order.

  • Products and pricing stay in Shopify.
  • The selected collections are published to your storefront’s sales channel.
  • Your existing country context continues to control currency and availability.

Two separate paths. One Shopify storefront.

Three fallbacks.
A collection that keeps working.

Read the shopper’s country ranking first. If it is missing or not ready, try the Geosort global ranking, then the original collection.

If Geosort’s ranking service is temporarily unavailable, Shopify can keep serving the last order written. The fallback chain handles a country collection that is unavailable, so your loader has a predictable alternative.

  • Country order for markets with an available ranking.
  • Geosort global order for the next fallback.
  • Original collection when neither ranked version is available.

Your front end stays yours.
Merchandising stays with your team.

Keep the original collection’s title, description, imagery, structured data and canonical URL. Use the ranked collection only as the source of products.

Your merchandising team keeps working in Geosort with country priorities, sorting rules, pins and manual control. Your developers preserve the storefront experience, including shopper-selected sorting and filtering.

  • Keep ranking-source collections out of navigation and your headless sitemap.
  • Keep pagination tied to the collection that produced the cursor.
  • Use the ranked order as the default; shoppers can still choose another sort.

Measure the grid.
Understand the market.

Shopify orders support sales-based ranking and reporting. Optional storefront events add the views, clicks and product interactions needed to understand the collection grid.

Connect those events when you need engagement-based ranking, grid attribution or A/B test measurement. We scope the events and cart/session connection with your team, including your existing analytics-consent flow.

  • Sales-based ranking and stock rules work without grid events.
  • Views and clicks add context to product visibility.
  • Consistent country and collection identifiers keep measurement aligned.

Built around your storefront.
Rolled out with your team.

Start with one collection and a staging environment. Agree on countries, the Storefront API sales channel and the parts of the grid served by your own code or another provider.

Before expanding, verify local and fallback orders, pagination, filters, country-aware caching, canonical URLs and any optional events. Then roll out to the collections and markets that need local merchandising.

01

Align the setup

Review your stack, collection source, sales channel and markets.

02

Connect one collection

Start in staging with the ranked source and fallback chain.

03

Verify and expand

Check countries, content, pagination, cache and measurement before rollout.
